About
Refrigeration, and nothing else
LA Sub-Zero Repair Pros is an independent repair service working on built-in and integrated Sub-Zero refrigeration across Woodland Hills, Westwood, Venice and Playa Vista. Refrigeration is all we do, which is why the van carries evaporator fans, defrost heaters, thermistors, door gaskets and ice-maker components rather than a little of everything.
Los Angeles is unusually hard on this equipment, and in four different ways depending on where you are. A condenser in Woodland Hills spends August rejecting heat into a room that is already hot. A unit three blocks off Venice beach lives in salt air that finds hinge cams and heater terminals. Hillside kitchens pull dust straight into the condenser. Newer Playa Vista townhomes are built with panel-ready columns and almost no service clearance, so the awkward part of the job is often getting to the fault rather than fixing it.
The way that shapes the work is simple: readings before parts, a named fault before a price, and a price before anyone picks up a tool. The $89 service call covers the visit and the diagnosis and is credited against the repair if you go ahead.
What this site will not do
- No contact form and no email address — the phone or the booking page.
- No firm price for your repair before somebody has looked at the machine — published bands on the repair pages first, then a quote you agree to.
- No cooking equipment, no laundry, no HVAC.
- No claim to be the manufacturer, or to speak for them.
How a call runs
Three steps, no surprises in the middle
-
You describe it on the phone
Model, roughly how old, and what it is doing — warm on one side, frost coming back, ice production falling away. That conversation decides which parts ride along on the van.
-
It gets measured, not guessed
Temperatures at the vents and in the cabinet, the defrost circuit, fan current, door seal and, where the readings point that way, the sealed system. Then you get the fault named and the price for putting it right.
-
Fitted, tested, left running
The part goes in, the unit is brought back to temperature while somebody watches it, and the cabinetry goes back the way it came out. You see the readings before the van leaves.

Model, roughly how old, and the symptom. That is enough to book the right visit and put the right parts on the van. The $89 service call covers the trip and the diagnosis, and comes off the repair.
